This class will meet in the Albert L. Lorenzo Cultural Center, Room 137.
No one has captured American life more vividly than Norman Rockwell. We’ll explore several of his memorable covers for the Saturday Evening Post as well as a selection of other work from his long and productive career. As a native of the U.K. Wendy brings a unique perspective on this topic.
About the Presenter: Wendy Evans is an art historian with advanced degrees from Oxford University and Wayne State University (WSU). She has given classes at MORE since 2015 having previously taught art history at WSU, College for Creative Studies, and the Detroit Institute of Arts.
